VISION

At 澳门新莆京 we understand that every child is different and, therefore, the educational needs of every child are different.

Pupils will be provided with high quality teaching adapted to suit the diverse needs of all learners.

We are an inclusive school and offer a range of provisions to support children with additional needs to help them achieve.

The school firmly believes that each student should be given equality of opportunity to achieve her full potential – spiritually, academically and socially – by recognising the uniqueness of each individual and providing a rich and varied learning experience for all and focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes. Each student, regardless of their ability, is entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum offered which is relevant to their educational needs. The curriculum offered should give all students a sense of achievement and thereby help them develop.

There is an SEND Link Governor – Sabiha Yusuf who liaises with the SENCO and Associate Deputy Head teacher, Priya Jones.

In addition to this you may discuss any concerns about your daughter’s progress with her Head of Year who will refer her to the SEND Department if necessary.

Mental Health Support:

Kooth: Anonymous online mental health support for children and young people in Bolton aged 11 -25. It can be accessed for free on any device via www.kooth.com Qwell: Online mental health support for parents and carers in Bolton aged 26+ via www.qwell.io (Parents and Carers under 26 can access 1:1 counselling via Kooth above).

ChatHealth: A confidential texting service for anyone aged between 11 and 19 (25 if a Care Leaver or have SEND) who lives or goes to school in Bolton. Young people can text a Bolton Public Health Nurse anonymously for support on a range of topics including mental health, bullying, smoking, drugs, sexual health, bereavement, relationships and much more. To use Chat Health young people simply text their message to 07507331753 and will get a reply within 24 hours. Parents/Carers cantext 07507 331751 with questions ranging from infant feeding and child development, to behavioural issues and general advice.
